All around the world, coral ecosystems are in grave danger. According to the latest IPCC report, up to 99% of them could disappear by 2050 if no action is taken. Climate change, ocean acidification, pollution, and overfishing are accelerating their decline.
Yet corals are essential to our planet’s balance: they shelter unique biodiversity, protect our coastlines from erosion, and provide vital resources for nearly one billion people. Today, they need our help to survive and regenerate.

CORAL of LIFE is a foundation dedicated to strengthening the resilience of coral ecosystems worldwide. Today, we are mobilizing the attention of public and private institutions to secure funding for concrete initiatives to protect, conserve, and restore coral reefs.
Our mission is simple: to act now to preserve these essential ecosystems and to raise awareness of their importance for the equilibrium of the oceans and of the populations who depend upon them. Because by protecting corals, we protect life on Earth.
A true sentinel of the Pacific, French Polynesia stands on the front line of climate risks.
Between 2026 and 2033, our ambition is to carry out a meaningful project on three islands – Tahiti, Mo’orea, and Bora Bora — to restore more than 20 hectares of coral reefs.
Under the scientific supervision of CNRS/CRIOBE, our objective is to strengthen marine biodiversity in a lasting way and enhance the quality of these ecosystems through an integrated ecological approach, connecting mountain to lagoon.

We work hand in hand with local and international partners, all committed to protecting coral reefs and preserving marine biodiversity.
Join our network of engaged partners and help us build a sustainable and responsible future together.
To be fully realized, our project requires substantial resources—on the order of €1.5 million per year—of which we aim to have 60 percent covered by European subsidies. Approximately 10 percent of the budget is provided by the team’s own resources and in-kind, skills-based sponsorship. The remaining 30 percent is to be secured through additional private and public co-financing.
Every contribution is vital — to restore coral reefs, protect biodiversity, and support local communities.
By supporting CORAL of LIFE, you help protect a vital ecosystem for our planet.
Your contribution enables us to restore endangered coral reefs, preserve marine biodiversity, safeguard coastlines from erosion, and support the communities that depend on them every day.
You can help us in many ways: through a financial donation, by offering skills-based sponsorship, by forming an institutional or logistical partnership, or simply by sharing our mission with others.
Every action counts and brings us closer to our goal.
